Student Jobs and Payroll

Career Center

No matter where you are in your career journey, the Career Center can help. Whether you’re a first-year student looking for campus jobs and internships, a graduating student or recent alumnus looking to launch your career, the ICC can support you every step of the way.

Handshake

Handshake is a critical online resource for students to find and apply for jobs and internships and connect with employers. Please note that ASUCD job opportunities are only available on their website.

Work-Study

Work-Study allows a student who has financial need to earn financial aid through employment. UC Davis offers two types of Work-Study: Federal Work-Study and Institutional Work-Study. Undergraduate and graduate students may be eligible. Because funding is limited, not all students with need are offered Work-Study. Funds are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

UC Davis Payroll Services

UC Davis Payroll Services facilitates the timely and accurate disbursement of approved employee compensation, satisfying payroll-related employer obligations and ensuring appropriate accounting for campus compensation costs.

Graduate Student Employment

UC Davis offers several types of employment to graduate students providing financial support and exciting professional experiences in addition to opportunities for career development. Students earn a salary and, depending on the type of employment, may have all or part of their fees paid as a benefit.
